The Immigrants Training and Advice services run different projects for migrants in Ireland. Here you will find the current projects we are working on at the moment, and the past projects we had some time ago. Some of our projects can be repeated from time to time, depending on the demand.

The
'Migrant woman integration through personal development' programme.
About this Programme...
This FREE programme is for migrant women in Midlands-counties Roscommon, Westmeath, Offaly and Longford, who want to change their occupation.
The adviser will help YOU to decide on your future occupation, identify the need for personal development, and find a way to achieve your goals.
The programme includes 3 sessions:
1. Informational session.
During a group meeting, you will receive comprehensive information about the opportunities for education, employment and self-employment in Ireland.
You will find about:

Your rights and entitlements,
-
The courses available and how to enroll,
-
Job search and CV/Cover letter preparation,
-
Financial support,
-
Types of self-employment and
-
How to open a business.
2. Individual sessions (30 minutes each)
Each participant will have a private session with an expert and coach for analysis of their personal situation.
During this meeting you will be able to do the following:

To explore perspectives.

To establish the development goals.

To identify the barriers and to find a way to overcome them.

To create the action plan.
-
To list the people and organisations who may support.
3. Community Support session.
The meeting with members of the local Irish community who wish to share their experience and knowledge. It will give you the chance to discuss with others your difficulties with integration and personal development and to get advice, help and support from members of the Irish community. The perfect chance to build a new friendship.
